Rida Hamza

Dr. Rida Hamza is the vice president of global business development, critical infrastructure protection (CIP), for the Federal Business Unit of Pasadena, California-based Parsons Corporation.Rida provides global business development leadership and direction, supporting all Parsons’ security markets and services, with a focus on CIP. He acts as an executive sponsor to drive growth and operational excellence in CIP and large-scale physical and cybersecurity project delivery in the Middle East, Africa, and other high-growth regionsRida is the author or coauthor of several engineering books, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers journal articles, and conference papers, and he holds more than 48 U.S. and international patents in support of physical security, video analytics, and biometrics technology and innovations. He is also an active member of the Development of Technological Leadership Network at the University of Minnesota, USA, and is an active member of the advisory board for the Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering Graduate Program at the American University in the UAE
